MY PEEPS. I was going to include more, but... I got lazy. And pushed the rest of the Arioc family off a cliff. lolz.

So here are the 10 characters I tend to pay the most attention to! If I ever get off my butt again I might do a second batch of slightly less important people, but this will have to do for now.


XXVII: Former apathetic rich kid, then gladiator, then musical vagabond, then mob boss, then (and always) pain in the Empire's butt. He tends to dislike people by default.

*Sinope: Goes back and forth between being a hobo or a mooch. He means well, but has... issues. And is smelly more often than not.

*Elca: Childhood friend (sorta?) of XXVII. Stuff happened, and now she's a pirate captain. Just a wee tad off her rocker as well.

Jasper: Happens to be the scandalous bastard son of the Venoran queen and one of her manservants! They sent him away to live in Reme, where he's now a governor. He owns enough exotic pets to qualify his home as a private menagerie.

Freya: Whatever the equivalent of a knight is from the eastern kingdom of Elsinore, that's what she is. She goes to Reme to help a group of revolutionaries there before the Empire invades her country for the second time.

Nemi: She and her brother came to Reme from Venora when they were really young, and now they own a darling little bakery or something like that. Somehow she got involved with that birdy hooligan--

*Lux: --who is kind of really messed up in the head. Lux is Sinope's nephew, but they look nothing alike because he inherited all his looks from his mother, not his father/Sinope's brother. He tends to swing back and forth between being really violent or really pathetic and snivelly.

*Chimes: The Emperor's estranged brother, also the former magister militum who was responsible for conquering half the continent. Now he's a sad little vagrant who eats people.

*Ibec: THE PRINCESS OF CANDYLAND. Except by Princess I mean Emperor, and by Candyland I mean Reme. He's ruled for about a century, and his extravagance and megalomania have grown massively in that time.

*Cain: The current magister militum and the Emperor's Official BFFL. His devotion to the state is absolutely insane.


* = terapath, i.e. "immortal cannibal." These are the people who have beastieforms.
